The Perfect Hourglass Shape

Today I decided to focus on the lovely accessory, the belt! One of my friends had asked me to create a post  discussing the different ways one can wear the belt, and how it can help to tie a look together. It can also be a tricky way to help camouflage a problem area, or help create shape over a drapey top. In doing so, it helps prevent a shapeless silhouette. If you are trying to hide a tummy, pick a wider belt to help define a waist. The higher the belt is on the waist, the longer your legs will appear! For the thinner retail therapy lover, shoot for a thinner belt. If the belt is too thick, it may overwhelm your narrow frame. Experiment with different types of belts to find what shape will work best for you! Just a reminder! If you have a particular question related to fashion or want to request a certain type of post don't hesitate to email me at theretailtherapydiaries@gmail.com! I'm open to any feedback and always in need of new post ideas. Also if you have any tips and tricks that you want to share with me I'm all ears. There is so much more for me to learn! Anyways, back to the topic at hand, I've included three different looks that can be topped off with this useful accessory!
