The Retail Therapy Diaries: January 2013

Of all the wonderful things that come from Disney movies, it's always a bit disappointing when the sidekicks don't get their fair share of the spotlight. I know what you're thinking. A sidekick isn't supposed to be the main fixture of a film, but let's be honest, the movies wouldn't be half as entertaining without the trusty buddies of the heroes and heroines. Many of my favorite characters in the Disney movie collection are sidekicks. From Meeko in Pocahontas to Little Brother in Mulan, sidekicks always help to add a touch of humor when scenes start to get a little too serious. Always there to lend a helping hand, sidekicks don't get nearly the amount of respect they deserve. I plan to change all that with a post dedicated to the unsung heroes of the world of Disney.
