Let the Games Begin

With the recent release of the film, The Hunger Games has seemingly taken over the pop culture universe overnight! Still hungry for all things Hunger Games? Look no further! I've got just the thing to quench that craving. Keeping up with this craze, I created outfits inspired by some of the characters. I've added accessories to pump up basic pieces to create more modern and easy to wear outfits. Let's be serious. It would be a little hard trying to pull off some Effie couture without looking like a circus performer escapee. Though maybe a tad far out for everyday wear, the costumes and makeup in the movie were amazing! They were so fun to look at. From the poofy cotton-candy hair to the cooky crazy skirts to the intricate flirty lashes, there was so much creativity going on in each costume! Now that I've had a chance to witness the magic that is The Hunger Games movie, I guess I'll have to keep myself busy paging through the books again until the next film!
